it's our anniversary today
and
today we spend the day celebrating
each other
by doing pretty much nothing.
because
we are cool like that.
we did go to the beach for a picnic dinner
and that was a good thing.
when we got back in the car
owen said that he loved spending his life with me
because i make it so fun.
aww...
we also decided that we were a pretty great couple
and that we would certainly celebrate with
great flair next year.
silly us.
next year we will probably still be most satisfied
together
at the beach.
or curled up on the couch.
when i think about my owen
and yes,
i am pretty pleased to call him
"my owen"
workds that come to mind are
steadfast
dedicated
selfless
determined
intense
commited
and
mine.
i love this man and there isn't a day that goes by when i am not
overwhelmed with gratitude for our life together.
